ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Robyn, a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique, classically trained oboist, and enthusiast about all things wellness & stress relief.

As a professional musician, I have been well-acquainted with stress and overwhelm for as long as I can remember.

After years of treating my body like it was an adversary to overcome, I finally gave up and decided to work with it instead. After training to become a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique and a Teaching Member of Alexander Technique International, I solidified my passion for helping others work with their body, too. By using a blend of Alexander Technique, mindfulness, and flow training, I help people befriend their body and nervous system.

Because here’s what I believe: by working with our brain and body as a Whole Body, we will learn to reduce stress and pain, calm anxiety and nurture curiosity and presence.

I like nothing better than giving workshops around the country, performing music with the Dayton Philharmonic and Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra, and teaching private and group classes both in person and online. I live with my husband, daughter, and several furry critters in Pennsylvania.

Robyn Dixon Costa, D.M.A., is a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique, which, helps people learn to use their bodies in the most efficient and pain-free way possible.
